1 Terms and Conditions
In these Terms and Conditions :
  • 'product(s)' means exercises and/or sets of exercises and other related material as provided for download on the Help Them Read website
  • 'website' means the site Help Them Read at www.helpthemread.co.uk
  • 'we' 'us' or 'our' means Help Them Read
  • 'you' or 'your' means the customer.
This agreement constitutes the entire and only agreement between us and you relating to the supply from us and purchase by you of product from the Help Them Read web site.

2 Acceptance
These terms of sale cover your purchase of the product and its use. Our agreement allows you to use the product only with one child and his/her siblings or with a single adult. You must not transfer the product to any other person(s) or use it with more than one person, other than as described here. Use with other adults or children requires the purchase of additional products.

3 Product
We will try to make sure the product downloads to your computer correctly and immediately at your request, after payment has been cleared. However, sometimes this may be affected by factors we cannot control, for example, interruptions to internet connections due to faults in networks or third party suppliers and we will not be liable for any delay caused by them. In addition we will not be liable to you in any way for failures, defects or delays in the delivery of the product which are caused by one or more of the following reasons:
  • You have provided incorrect or incomplete payment or log-in information.
  • Your computer, for some reason, is prevented from downloading.
  • Your computer memory is full and has no additional capacity to receive the product.
  • You accidentally erase product provided to you or cannot find it in your computer, after downloading it.
  • Your computer does not have the software needed to use the product.
As you have chosen to order product from the website, you agree that you have had opportunity to check, prior to ordering, the product's suitability. We accept no liability for product which you subsequently deem is not suitable for your purpose. In particular, the Assessment is provided as a general purchasing guide and is not intended to be a specific statement of a person’s reading ability.

We promise you that:
  • Provided you have properly downloaded and paid for it, you have the right to use the product as specified in (2) above;
  • The product downloaded directly from our website will be free from any viruses, trojans or other malicious content;
  • If you register, any product you purchase is available to you to download again, at no extra charge, for a period of 1 year after purchase, provided it is to be used only as specified in (2) above.
4 Purchasing
Product is purchased when it is paid for and downloaded, from the Help Them Read website. Payment options are offered on the website and following successful completion of the payment process, product download can begin. All prices are expressed inclusive of applicable VAT unless otherwise stated.

5 Liability
We are only liable to you as set out in this agreement. We have no other duty or liability to you. Our entire liability to you for something we or anyone who works for us does or fails to do will be limited to the value of your order. We are not liable to you in any way for any loss of income, business or profits, or for any loss or damage that was not reasonably foreseeable at the time you entered into this agreement. For the avoidance of doubt this includes direct, indirect and consequential loss. We will not be liable to you if we cannot carry out our duties or provide our services because of something beyond our reasonable control. Other than any assurances we have provided in the preceding paragraph, all warranties, representations, conditions or other terms either expressed or implied in relation to this Agreement are excluded and limited to the maximum extent permissible by law.

6 Personal Information
We may hold a number of items of personal data about you which you provide to us. This information and information about the use of our service is used by us to provide our services to you and for research purposes. From time to time we may use your details to send you information on offers, including material about other carefully selected companies, or for market research purposes. By accepting this Agreement you agree to that use, but you can stop us sending you this information at any time by emailing ask@helpthemread.co.uk.

7 General
This Agreement is personal to you and it does not confer any benefit on any third party under The Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999. This Agreement shall be governed in all respects by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of England and Wales and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.

Privacy Policy
We believe it is important that we are transparent and clear about the information you give to us and how we use it. By using our website, whether browsing or using it, you agree to what is written here. We will update these from time to time and you should check in here when you visit our website to see any changes. This website is owned by Help Them Read. We sometimes use third parties to provide technical services and your information may be held by them. These companies may be based overseas. That information will be held under licence from us. Our privacy policy relates only to information that we obtain from you. If you visit a website operated by a third party through a link included on this website, your information might be used differently by the operator of the linked website.
The type of information we will collect about you includes:
  • your e-mail address and other information you provide during the registration process
  • the information included in any online services to which you subscribe
  • details about the products you purchase information you complete in relation to our customer surveys and competitions
  • information that you input at any time via our website information that we collect by any cookie or analysis of your use of our services.
The information you provide to us when using this website will be processed for the following reasons:
  • to administer your user account with us
  • to process any request for products or services supplied by us
  • to notify you from time to time of our bulletins, information packs, products and services both to customise this website according to your intereststo comply with our statutory and regulatory obligations.

To comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 we adhere to strict security procedures. The personal information which we hold will be held securely to ensure no unauthorised disclosure or access.

Unless you tell us not to, when registering, we will contact you from time to time in the future for marketing purposes, concerning products and services that may be of interest to you.

Unless you tell us not to, when registering, we may also pass on your information from time to time to selected third parties who have products and services that may be of interest to you.

If you wish at any time to stop receiving any marketing communications from us, email us at ask@helpthemread.co.uk. Should you wish to obtain a copy of the personal data that we hold on you, please send an e-mail to ask@helpthemread.co.uk. As soon as we are satisfied as to your identity and upon payment by you of a £10 charge to cover our administration costs, we will send to you, within 40 days, a copy of all the data that we hold concerning you.

If you have a complaint regarding any breach of this privacy policy, contact us at ask@helpthemread.co.uk. When we receive the complaint, we will review it and ensure that we are in compliance with our privacy policy and all applicable laws. We will contact you within 40 days of receiving your complaint to inform you of the results of your complaint.

When visiting our Webpages, we use tracking technologies which record information about you automatically. This can include using a cookie which would be stored on your browser. We automatically collect and store only the following information about your visit:

Help Them Read works with a number of companies that provide technical services to enable us to provide you with the products and services we offer. We believe in working with the most appropriate companies and sometime these are based overseas and they may be outside Europe. These companies may be required to carry out one or more functions and this means they may be holding, using or processing your information to achieve that purpose. These companies are generally specialists in their fields and comply with relevant standards to keep your information secure.
